Factors that contributed to me missing the deadline was a mix of me not being satisfied with the work and multiple rewrites of the chapter, and me not carving out enough time writing the book. I used to write in the morning, waking up early in order to write, but ever since I got my car I have been waking up later, and thus eliminating that morning time. As for why the lack of communication, it was mostly due to anxiety. I was simply scared to reach out and talk, thinking I could just finish the missing assignments and move on. For what I will do for improving communication in the future, I think I will simply send out an email if anything that might hinder my progress arises, or if anything that might contirbute to a decrease in quality of work comes up. And finally for the upcoming SDA, in order to complete it in a timely manner, I will be making sure that I am working on at least a little bit every day in the evening after all my other homework is done. In fact Ie already set an alarm for 930 pm that will remind me to start working on it.
