As for my symposium speech, I feel as though I am in a little bit of a tough position. I am not researching anything, much less a problem that requires a call to action. I am instead writing a book and going through all the learning experiences and challenges of that. I can't go out and tell everybody go make a book because it's fun or rewarding. Is what I orignally thought, until I was inspired to do just that. Or something similar. I want to inspire other people to create. Doesn't have to be a book, it can be anything. Whatever idea is in someone's mind, one they haven't done yet due to various excuses, I want to encourage them to make it. Make a painting, create a game, or write a book. Whatever idea is in the audiences mind, I want to inspire them to just create, and go ahead with it despite the various excuses they most likely have made up to justify not doing what they want. Everybody has an entire half of a brain devoted to creativity, so most likely they have something they to do, I just have to tell them to do it.
