Discussion: What we talk about when we talk about art labour?

近年愈來愈多人關心藝術界的勞動問題，相關的著作和學術研究也開始出現，並引起關注。談到勞動，或者我們可以暫時擱下如何「改善勞動者福祉、促進職業安全及健康」* 的討論，轉而退一步思考藝術勞動的一些本質問題：如何定義藝術勞動？能否區分不同的勞動形態？如果藝術家也是勞動者，這個社群可以有怎樣的階級認同，可以如何連結，如何行動？討論會將邀請勞動問題的研究者以及藝術勞動者，和參加者一起在現場討論和思考「藝術／勞動」的議題。討論會將邀請學者何建宗及關注勞動議題的藝術家程展緯，和參加者一起在現場討論和思考「藝術／勞動」的議題。藝術家工會會員亦將回應討論。
活動無需登記，歡迎任何人士參加！

The issue of ‘art labour’ has received much attention in recent years, with an increasing amount of related debates, reportage, publications and research. In this context, we would like to take a step back from the discussion on ways to ‘enhance the wellbeing of the workforce and promote the safety and health of those at work’* in this sector, and instead try to consider more fundamental problems. These include the definition(s) of art labour, ways to distinguish different forms of labour within the sector, the possibility/need of class consciousness among artists/art-labourers, and ways to organise this workforce.
All are welcome, no registration required!
