BEHOLD, her design which I finished in class after 2/3 of the SOL testing for English for Juniors (11th graders, for ye non 'muricans) and It was a nightmare and I hate everything about it. But Aoj's latest design, pretty sure this is the one, but I don't like how light it looks, the lines aren't lining as hard as I thought they would, but it works kinda well considering most of her feathers are whiter than the color white itself, blinding reflection of snow and you'll see her when there are absolutely no photons bouncing off anything in existance. I do think she looks kinda owl, and I do like how flat her face looks, like one of them barn owls, and it was really fun doing her hair. It's actaully kinda funny, considering how long it took me to think of her design. I actually do this a lot, where I have a whole design planned out in my head but then as soon as it comes time to draw them, I can't think of anything and pace around whatever area I have available.
But I do like how she came out, lips, nose, eyes, ears, and even the clothing. That's actually what I struggle with the absolute most while drawing, is how to draw these celestial, literal divine beings beyond my mere existance, but I made them and now I gotta dress them so they aren't naked as hell, doing magic in the sky. (Hoe life, or no life)
Okay, these are all the symbols on the little things wrapped around her neck and shoulders. I couldn't do that many because redrawing them over and over again was giving me a headache. These are all the ones I put on her, with the religion they're from and where they are on her. A lot of them aren't clear, so apologies for that.
Here we got owl. Of course this is exaggerated, if someone threw a rock at her, thinking she was a regular bird, she'd just quickly fly to a different spot nearby, transform into her humanoid one, and pull an Obi Wan Kanobi- "Hello there" about half the time, they recognize her. People really need to teach their kids to not throw rocks at birds because you might loose all your smarts, not that you had any to begin with if you're throwing rocks at birds. Also, that's just mean. Don't throw rocks at birds :(
Ah shoot, I just realized I forgot to sign my drawings before uploading them on here. Eh, it's still in my artstyle and in my sketchbook. I've been told I have a bit of a crisp artstyle, whatever that means. But I don't have guide lines when I draw, making me a copier's nightmare on top of being an animator's nightmare. BUT in case you are a copier, it's good practice for drawing, so I don't mind if ye trace me or try to copy my artstyle, I used to do that, only it was trying to draw characters from The Amazing World of Gumball. However, if you do trace my art, I wanna see :D
(Little do they know how she felt once the Library of Alexandria fell)
Back in Sutrimuerte she was a bat. A Puerto Rican bat. Her desing was just slapped together, because now I feel the Goddess of knowledge would wear more "Oh look, it's the elder that everyone seeks advice from and has been alive for like a bajillion years probably and looks a lot like a bird, who wears many layers of clothes and is very floaty" type clothes, you know?
This base for her was completely unused. Like, her original design did not give me any ideas, I practically summoned a new character out of thin air. I mean, it may look that way with all of my designs but this time it truly was absolutely disconnected from the original to the current.
I kept is the dark hands and medium length skirt, that's about it.
Something I would like to say is that it's cool that I made a bat character, I just wish she had a bit more detail. Allow me to count all of the lines on her design. I counted 38 lines, including the hand.
