(Soon to have their own episodes- Imagine not having an episode yet having a song)
I actually drew this while in math. A lot of my drawings come from math, but please don't be like me. Seriously. That's why she's staring at me like this, because I'm not doing my work.
This is younger Sera, where she is just traumatized. She still is but this was when her parents were still alive. I was originally trying out a new artstyle with her but then my brain souped up a story with her, The main drawing is just her while the other two on the left/below have ghosts inside her. I tried to make her eyes look dead with a barely visible pupil but then the darked out eye looks more dead than the regular eyes, but I suppose that makes more sense. My friend also says that she's very tweenable, if you guys agree. Her eyes were the hardest part to draw, oddly enough, her hair was the easiest.
ASTER!! He's usually holding something, his mask, made by himself, his eye, or the keys to nowhere. They're just keys no one knows to where they lead. The main drawing is the one after his really bad damage after being pinned. His arms are different colors, he's got more holes in him, and his right arm is actually split into two pieces.
Next we got his original drawings. Stuffed cat, mask on, mask off. His face was a struggle to draw, absolute nightmare. (But that's why I like drawing it. It takes more time.)
Finally, Tea party between Sera, Aster, and Carl the ghost. Aster has the SWEETEST tooth in the history of all of existance.
Three drawings here, one of Sera and Aster having family bonding time by hanging stuffed animals. This one is just them a few months after their parents died.
Second drawing is Carl, the ghost that appears in every drawing of their tea parties. He's usually drinking tea but he's unpinning Aster after getting pinned by his parents. (We love you Carl)
Third drawing is Aster after getting thrown down the stairs, not dying immediately but then just flopping over on his back like a sleepy cat before he becomes a dead cat. Literally.
Then there's Aster pinned on the wall. His leg is gone. His eye is gone.
Yippie Iris, drawn entirely with highlighters and dry erase marker with some white out. I also drew her while listening to Fukouna Girl by Stomach Book so I feel like she kinda matches that vibe. She's just fun in general.
This second drawing is of her when she was human, maid uniform and exhausted. (I love how most of my current character designs aren't actually official charcoal drawings anymore, just loose leaf paper and notebook. Most of these characters weren't created by the time I stopped doing charcoal drawings because of the mess it made on the floor, but the carpet was being replaced anyway because this was when I was moving houses.
Anyway, Iris was also made out of spare fabric, becomes friends with Sera because she's kind and is tolerated by Aster until he eventually considers her a friend too.
Extra sketches I wanted to share with you
Here Sera is a bit older, like 11? She looks a bit more mature but still got the very exhausted eyes and very thick long fast growing hair that has to be chopped off every few weeks. She's wearing one of the dresses that Aster made her when he was alive.
S-Ok so basically how Lymphatic Filariasis works-
I-Aster, isn't that what you had?
A-No Iris, I was pushed down the stairs.
(Carl the ghost is just watching)
This is just what friends do, Aster can jump really high and he's made of cloth so he can't really hurt anyone unless he bites or claws at you, and Iris is also quite shock resistant because she's also made of cloth, so no ghost possessed stuffed cats were harmed in the making of this video.
He was also just impulsive in that moment, sometimes you just gotta lunge at your friends for no other reason but that you want to.
Sera in bed, Carl saying hello cuz he was bored. We got hanging stuffed animals, hearts, stars, a moon, raindrops she and Aster made together, and a key to nowhere.
Aster and Iris are reacting to the same thing, I don't know what but they just are looking at the same thing, I like doing these simple drawings where it doesn't have much of a story, it's just two characters being characters together.
