+Some drawings of the dollhouse from the inside at the bottom
This is Irshad's current design, however, I will probably change it. I mean, his hair is looking a bit odd, but that's about it. He's still got his four eyes, his pockets filled with first aid supplies, and the spots on his face.
I would also like to add, incase you haven't heard from one of the more recent episodes, I somehow managed to spectacularly mischaracterize him in one of the early episodes of this podcast. I like- worded it really badly, he understands that he can't rebuild a childhood every time, and that he can't replace anyone. But if they call him dad, then he won't tell them not to. His job is to take care of the souls of dead children, and explain to them how death works so that they can understand that they're dead and can pass on to the true afterlife. And if they're really too young, then they just chill at the dollhouse forever.
Also also- Have I made it a bit obvious that I really like him? Like- he was the very first character drawn in my sketchbook with the brown paper, so he was the very first Sutrimer design and very first Sutrimer original character that wasn't changed from Sutrimuerte, and also he's also a huge part in the death system so I just like him :D
Since his design is old as this notebook, you can see that everything is basically smudged, which is also why I started doing lineart for all the characters because Irshad's lines were legit lost. Gone. Dead.
His mask looks very jack-o-lantern-esque, but it also kinda fits him because arts and crafts. He's also one of the first characters that was drawn during the switch of my art styles, so he looks like some of the others but not- similar but different.
Anyway, in the other sketch, it's him running with his cloak in the wind and my mom thought he was lettuce.
More drawings of him- We got watercolor Irshad, and him on the deck of cards. Actually- he was the first card I made. He isn't entirely accurate to his design but who really cares? The cards were just for fun. But he does seem like he would be the ace of hearts, and the same friend that asked "Why does Seordrel have tits?" said he does look kinda priestly.
Also I like with the watercolors that I managed to actually do his hair nicely, mask, and the bell kinda looks like a bell. (For those who don't know, it's so that the ghosts of children know that he's there so he doesn't jumpscare them or something)
("Oh you're such a handsome young man, can you give us a big smile?" And then he pulls out the jack-o-lantern mask smile)
Here we got a library tower, anyone wanna guess where it is? Okay I'll tell you, it's the dollhouse. I didn't want to add it to the Possibly Places catagory because this tower specifically is already cannon. The little girl and fish guy, Penelope and Jasper, are child soul and guide. Kinda like he's her older brother. She's a blue dress wearer and he's so incredibly orange and brown.
Anyway, I had the TIME OF MY LIFE doing fish eye perspective, this is the view from someone standing right at the doorway and looking up. Some of the stairs look fugly as hell but I still love them. Anyway, it took a bit longer than I thought to draw every individual book, and then it took a shockingly short time to draw the willow tree and the pond. Don't worry, the books don't get moldy from the water being right there, Irshad made sure the water was contained, especially for the paper dolls.
