The City of Taguig aims to elevate disaster and emergency response capability of the City through the establishment of the Center for Disaster Management , a 5-storey building located in Barangay Central Signal that houses specialized training room, evacuation centers, and other related government offices equipped with essential tools for quick response to emergencies.
City Risk Reduction and Management Office continuously conducts personnel comprehensive trainings and seminars on disaster management and response.

In partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Mobile Command and Control Vehicle (MOCCOV) is a proudly Pinoy-made specialized vehicle with advanced communication and a real-time data analysis tool for disaster response capabilities. It can also serve as a central hub for security, traffic control, and crowd management during large public events.
A centralized hub used to monitor, offer assistance, and provide orders during emergencies and other events in the City.
The Command Center is equipped with modern technology that uses continuous-frame monitors that displays single camera shot in multiple monitors.

CCTV Cameras are continuously being installed in different parts of the City to monitor the traffic and to ensure the security and safety of all Taguigueños.
Firefighters in the City are highly trained to respond to every kind of emergency to ensure the safety and well-being of all Taguigueños. All kinds of fire equipment are provided by the City for an efficient emergency response.

The City of Taguig aims to raise awareness on Fire Safety through increasing fire station visibility, hydrant testing and profiling, and conducting of fire safety seminars in every barangay.
The City of Taguig is committed to enhance the emergency response through the provision of different kind of emergency vehicles such as ambulances, boats, and amphibious vehicles.
Emergency vehicles are always on standby for the rescue, evacuation, and delivery of aid to people affected of the calamity and/or disaster.
The City of Taguig has upgraded its emergency response capabilities by introducing its first Aerial Platform Fire Truck which features a 70-meter articulating boom that can reach heights of 20-22 storey buildings, making it suitable for confined urban areas. With a lifting capacity of 500 kilograms, the platform can safely carry multiple rescuers and their equipment, enhancing firefighting and rescue operations in high-rise communities.

Designated evacuation centers in the City of Taguig are being used in case of calamities and/or disasters.
Tents are setup to give each family their private space. They are given sleeping kit, hygiene kit, family food packs, hot meals, and drinking water.
Stations such as medical station, pharmacy, children's play area, and breastfeeding center can be found at the evacuation center.

The City of Taguig has established a partnership with the Bonifacio Global City Estate Association (BGCEA) and the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) through a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration aims to improve disaster preparedness and enhance community resilience.
The MOU focuses on fostering better coordination among various agencies, refining evacuation procedures, strengthening response capabilities, and ensuring that disaster risk reduction efforts align with Taguig's DRMM framework.
The City of Taguig strengthens the Barangay Security Force through conducting trainings and seminars such as Basic Patrol Operations, Arrest, Search and Seizure, and Crisis Management for the Barangay Tanods to increase security and peace and order in the City.
Through the Local Utility Office, the City of Taguig continuously restores and/or replaces street lights in all 38 barangays to ensure the motorists' and the residents' safety to avoid accidents.
