The Taguig DigiTech program aims to provide the latest technology in education through an engaging, interactive, accessible, and learning environment for students and teachers across all 52 public schools in the City. As part of this initiative, three new facilities were officially launched at Senator Renato "Compañero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School (SRCCMSTHS). These facilities are a Robotics Lab, a Digital Classroom, and a Digital Computer Lab.
To support the investment in technology and devices for the students' education, the City has provided the resources including:
WiFi installation in all public schools
3,000 tablets for digital classrooms, supported by 104 charging carts (2 per school)
1,350 laptops for high school computer labs
1,600 desktops for high school students
2,451 Samsung SMART TVs installed across 46 public schools
406 Interactive SMART Screens deployed in 6 pilot schools
The program also focuses on these objectives such as:

Foster a collaborative learning environment
Seamlessly integrate technology into the curriculum

The Robotics Lab provides a practical learning space for robotics and automation across all 52 public schools in the City. The Robotics Team comprises students from different schools and has been recognized nationally and internationally for their innovative projects and success in robotics competitions.
Notable Achievements
FIRA RoboWorld Cup 2017 (Taiwan) - The team secured gold and silver medals in the Cliffhanger and Mission Impossible categories.
Cyber-Graduation 2020 - During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team developed remote-controlled robots made from recycled materials to represent graduates in a virtual ceremony, showcasing their creativity and adaptability.
FIRA RoboWorld Cup and Summit 2023 (Germany) - The Cayetano Science Robotics Team earned multiple awards in categories, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Cliffhanger Heavyweight (Individual), 2nd place in the Cliffhanger Mission Heavyweight, and 2nd and 3rd place in Cliffhanger All-Round. The Philippine representatives also won a silver medal in the Mission Impossible United Countries team category.
World Robot Games Thailand Championship 2023 - The students from Senator Renato "Compañero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School, Taguig Integrated School, and R.P. Cruz Elementary School won multiple awards in categories such as Sumobot, Innovation: SDG Junior, and iBEAM Line Tracing.
Summer Robot Games International Open and Youth Robotics Convention 2024 (Muntinlupa City) - The students from Taguig Science High School, Senator Renato "Compañero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School, and Pitogo High School bagged awards in categories such as Sumobot, Innovative, and iBEAM Line Tracing.
Innovative Projects
Robonurses (2020) - In response to the pandemic, the team created robots designed to deliver medications and supplies to patients, minimizing contact and protecting healthcare workers.
Project SAFER (Stair Assistance For Everyone in Recovery) (2024) - A user-friendly cane attachment that can assist senior citizens or persons with disabilities in climbing stairs. The assistive device was developed by Grade 11 student George Lean Tizon from Senator Renato "Compañero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School.
Project SAFEST (Systematic Assessment of Full Essentials Signs Technology) (2024) - A group of Grade 11 students from Senator Renato "Compañero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School developed an all-in-one device capable of collecting vital signs such as height, weight, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels. The device can send data via text message and store it for monitoring.
