MISSION
The mission of a city is not accomplished by simply maintaining peace and order, creating wealth and providing social services. It is truly accomplished when the city inspires and empowers its citizens to dream, develop their potentials and lead meaningful lives, as one created in God’s image.
Ang layunin ng isang lungsod ay hindi naisasakatuparan sa pamamagitan lamang ng pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaayusan, paglikha ng yaman at pagbibigay ng mga serbisyong panlipunan; ito ay ganap na naisasakatuparan kung ang lungsod ay nagbibigay inspirasyon at kapangyarihan sa mga mamamayan na mangarap, paunlarin ang kanilang kakayanan, at mamuhay nang may kabuluhan, bilang nilikhang kawangis ng Diyos.

Isang mapagmahal, mapag-aruga, matiwasay, at maunlad na Lungsod na naglilingkod sa Diyos at lahat ng Taguigueños sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay inspirasyon at kapangyarihan sa kanila upang mangarap, paunlarin ang kanilang kakayanan, at mamuhay ng may kabuluhan.

OUR PROBINSYUDAD
Probinsyudad is a blend of two words : "Probinsiya" from the Spanish word "provincia" or provincial and "Syudad" from the Spanish word "ciudad" or city.
From its humble beginnings as a farming and fishing community, much of the City of Taguig's landscape has rapidly expanded into a highly urbanized metropolis.
With the emergence of Bonifacio Global City (BGC), it has become the Philippine's next financial and commercial hub.
While businesses, visitors, and residents continue to flock here for work and pleasure, the City remains steadfast in supporting its provincial side, the roots of its people, through the preservation of the City's heritage and culture.
Farming and fishing are still viable occupations for locals living near the farmland and along the coastline. This balance is what makes Taguig a true "probinsyudad."
