The City of Taguig strongly advocates in giving equal opportunities and benefits to all Senior Citizens and Veterans. We champion the lives of each and every Taguigueño in the City.
Under City Ordinance No. 25 series of 2017, Senior Citizens of the City receive cash gifts ranging from Php 3,000 to Php 10,000 depending on their age bracket.
60-69 years old - Php 3,000
70-79 years old - Php 4,000
80-89 years old - Php 5,000
90-99 years old - Php 10,000

City Centenarians receive a Php 100,000 cash gift from the City of Taguig. They also get the same amount each year after their 100th birthday as part of the City's program for centenarians.
A day filled with laughter, music, and surprises for senior citizens, which aims to celebrate their wisdom, sacrifices, and unwavering love.
This initiative also highlights their contributions and crucial role in the City of Taguig.
Senior Citizens may enjoy a free movie experience at different malls in the City with the following schedules and conditions:
Vista Mall Taguig - every Tuesdays 10:00 AM at Cinema 2 and 3 (not allowed on First Screening, Holidays, and 3D Cinema)
SM Aura Premier - every Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at Cinema 1 and 2 (First Screening only)
Venice McKinley - every Mondays and Tuesdays at Cinema 1 and 3 (First Screening only)
Market! Market! - every Mondays and Tuesdays at any 2D Cinema (First Screening only)
Uptown Mall - every Mondays and Tuesdays* at any 2D Cinema (First Screening only, *starting second week of the new movie, not allowed on Holidays)

The Center for the Elderly is a 5-storey building offering rest and relaxation to Taguigueño elders needing to recharge. It is open from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, located at Ipil-Ipil Street, Barangay North Signal.

As part of the celebration of Elderly Week, the City Health Office (CHO) and Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) organized the first-ever Elderly Congress on October 15, 2025, at the Convention Center, New City Hall.
The event aimed to promote a healthy quality of life among senior citizens and to recognize their significant contributions in nation-building.
Essential health services were provided to more than 350 senior citizens who attended the event, including the following:

• Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health

• Anti-tobacco Program
• Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit
The City Nutrition Office also distributed fresh produce and vegetable seeds to encourage urban gardening among senior citizens.
In celebration of the Elderly Filipino Week, the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) annually organizes Gandang Mamita to celebrate the timeless beauty and grace of the City's Senior Citizens.
Participants showcase their hidden talents and share their advocacy with the community.
The competition also highlights their creativity through sustainable and environment-friendly costumes.
Lolos and lolas grooved and swayed in music to represent their respective barangay in a mini Dancesport Competition in celebration of Grandparents' Day.
Titled "Kayang-kaya, Gayang-gaya: The Ageless Talent Show," Senior Citizens who joined the contest impersonate their idols and showcase their hidden talent in singing or dancing.
Tai Chi exercise helps the Senior Citizens improve their muscle strength as well as respiratory and cardiovascular health.
The City of Taguig launched the Geriatric Program in partnership with St. Luke's Medical Center-BGC.
The Geriatric program is a comprehensive health program for Senior Citizens that offers free consultation and evaluation in their memory, visual, and hearing skills to determine if they will be needing medications.
