The Paw Run led by the Office of the City Veterinarian celebrated World Rabies Day with 155 furbabies and their furparents. The event aims to strengthen the City's campaign for rabies prevention and responsible pet ownership.

The initiative led by the Office of the City Veterinarian and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office aims to promote responsible pet ownership and keep public spaces clean by installing pet waste disposal stations equipped with scoopers, biodegradable bags, bins, and disinfectants.
An awareness campaign will educate the Taguigeños on health risks associated with uncollected pet waste through social media, community events, and public service announcements.
Additionally, the project includes rescue operations for stray dogs as they are among the leading contributors to dog waste in public spaces and to curb the stray population.
