The City of Taguig established Taguig Open Weather and Environmental Reporting System (TOWER) which reports real-time weather information such as the Air Quality Index, Heat Index Forecast, and Hourly Weather Forecast.
Calamities and other natural events such as flooding, typhoons, earthquakes, and volcano activities are also being monitored.
TOWER is a team of meteorologists and environmental analysts.
An annual volun-tourism event led by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) which aims to promote proper waste management.
The participants, equipped with garbage collection tools and materials, ran from Barangay San Miguel to the Lakeshore Open Ground in Barangay Lower Bicutan while collecting garbage along the road.

The City of Taguig launched Barangay Express Service Taskforce to address common barangay concerns through a coordinated approach involving various city departments. The initiative focuses on resolving streetlight repairs, drainage maintenance, waste management, sanitation, sidewalk restoration, and veterinary services.
The City Government of Taguig and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to intensify the flood control initiatives of the City through the turnover of modern cleaning tools and equipment such as modular trash traps, plastic pontoons, nylon ropes, life vests, fabricated scoopers, plastic crates, rubber gloves, and adjustable paddles.
The City of Taguig and other cities in Metro Manila signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Energy (DOE) to launch the Solar Solutions for Government: Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Public Buildings (SSG-ERPB) Program. This collaboration aims to provide technical assistance and capacity building from the DOE, facilitating effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of energy projects. The initiatives include reducing energy consumption, improving the resilience of public facilities, and reallocating funds to enhance community services.
This effort aligns with the City's ongoing commitment to the Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) and its vision of becoming greener, more sustainable, and climate-resilient. Supporting initiatives such as the TOWER System, urban farming, tree planting, and flood control programs further reinforces these objectives.
