House in THE cerrulean Sea

Linus works for DICOMY, an organisation which regulates orphanages and care of magical kids. He is assigned to investigate a particular orphanage. His life turns a sharp corner, when he reaches the island where the orphanage is located. The book delicately discovers a sweet love story between Linus, Arthur (the caretaker of the orphanage) and the kids.

Linus's life is dull and monotonous. His boss is awful and his life feels headed towards the dumps. He is, however, good at his job which is why he is chosen to go investigate the Marysas Island Orphanage. When he reaches the island, his life already starts getting some color. He then. meets the kids: Talia (gnome), Lucy (AntiChrist), Phee (tree sprite), Theodore (wyvern), Sid (shapeshifter), Chauncey (?.?). The reinforced idea that these kids are dangerous obviously makes him terrified. But he then starts seeing that these installed fears are just prejudices and he starts falling in love with the kids, the place and he loses his objectiveness (for which he was selected in the first place).

He fights for these kids first with himself, then against the villagers near the Island and finally DICOMY itself. It is a beautifully written story with the most adorable cast of characters. A lot of metaphors can be drawn from the story in the way prejudices blind us and how one small thing can change everything for someone.
