We believe that teaching people to grow their own food is a keystone to cultivating a sustainable future and lifting our dependence off of industrial farming.
While teaching people how to grow all of their own food is a very large task, microgreen education is the perfect starting point. Due to their incredibly low difficultly level, planting microgreens gives people an intro experience to growing food and displays how easy it can be.
Since microgreens take up minimal space and require little to no maintenance, everyone has the right conditions to grow them. Although they provide you with a healthy snack or topping rather than a full meal, the point is that they act as a stepping stone. Exposure to growing something you can eat opens the door for further interest and directions people can take it. People may save money by growing them, open a business by selling them, decide to grow a larger garden, or other possibilities.
