All you need to get started to grow microgreens is a bag of seeds, some water, and a place you can grow them (a grow mat, jar, or even a damp paper towel will do). Different from typical gardening, soil and direct exposure to a lot of sunlight is not necessary.
Step by step:
Soak seeds for 6-8 hours
Soak the growing area and spread the seeds out evely across the surface area
Cover the seeds and water daily until seeds begin to sprout (Should take about 2-3 days)
Uncover and place near a window while continuing to water daily
Around 14 days into the process, the microgreens will be ready to eat
Common Microgreen Seeds

arugula
radish or spicy radish

chia
mustard

Depending on personal preference, seeds can be mixed and matched to create different combinations of microgreens. They can all grow and intermix in the garden, or be grown seperately.
