Intro to Environmental & Sustainability Studies
Students in ENS 201.04 worked in groups create a game based on the principles of various proposed green economies (Doughnut Economics, Circular Economy, Plenitude Economy, DeGrowth, and Green Economics). Students were required to include a minimum of two concepts from green economic systems and address challenges including population growth, natural resource management, natural disasters, and carbon production and sequestration, all while providing jobs and financial security on their islands. The games will be available to play this Friday at the Sustainability Showcase event in Kirkhof Center's Pere Marquette Room from 11:30am to 1:00pm on Allendale Campus. We hope you'll join us!
