You need two devices to join Zoom meeting, place one device over head to look at your abacus while another one facing you. Like the picture below.

When prompted to "join audio", on your cell, choose "use internet audio";  on your iPad, choose "cancel". Then there will be no echoes.

Using masking tape to mark place value on your abacus, it helps remind beginners of place value on identical rods.  The tape should be removed once you are more advanced and start to put two numbers on one abacus.
