4) If you are not having any luck, take a shot in the dark and write to both Barnardo’s and The Child Migrant Trust in the UK. They may be able to help. Barnardo’s require the application form and you need to be a direct descendant. There may be a charge. The Child Migrant Trust will accept letters of enquiry.
