Finally, one of my favourite newspaper finds - my great-uncle William took a joy-ride in a milk van!! (Note: I'm fairly certain the reporter mentioned the incorrect home address - as far as my mum knows, he never lived outside the home he shared with his mother, who in 1936 lived on Defoe Road. His distinctive name eliminates any chance of this story being about another person).
