The Sunshine Coast is a regional area of British Columbia situated on the ancestral territories of several Coast Salish First Nations: ɬəʔamɛn (Tla'amin) to the north (the upper Sunshine Coast), and shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh) Squamish to the south (the lower Sunshine Coast).
