Fabrication for Assistive Technology: Hardware Course Projects
The hardware portion of this course focused on hands-on fabrication and rapid prototyping for rehabilitation applications. I learned to use hand tools and tri-wall cardboard to design and build custom seating and positioning devices. I also developed skills in additive manufacturing by creating 3D models in Tinkercad, fabricating them with a 3D printer, and designing practical aids for daily living.
