DOUBLEBASS INFORMATION SESSON

This information session will give interested students the time to try the instrument and ask questions. There will be instruments of various sizes and different styles of bow to try.

Parents/Guardians are welcome to come and ask questions about the instrument and how to access lessons for the coming year. There will be a discussion on where lessons will be provided as well as tips for how to store the instrument and arrange for transportation (if needed). 

The Doublebass is the largest instrument of the string orchestra instruments. It is larger than the cello! The Doublebass is the lowest pitched instrument in the string family and plays a similar musical role to the cello in an orchestra.
