On Thursday afternoon, the 21st of June 2018, you are cordially invited to join the first edition of the Saxion Research Conference. This meeting is the opportunity for you to present your own research or to be informed about all the great and excellent research that is ongoing at Saxion, within the different research groups, masters and graduate programs. With a number of short presentations in 4 topical areas and a poster session you can present, discuss, network and share your ideas on research with others.
Objective and scope of the meeting
Since a number of years Saxion is taking steps in the development towards a University of Applied Sciences. Application-oriented and demand-driven research is key to this development. In 2012 Saxion has defined its research agenda with the name "Living Technology", in which the interaction of technology on one side and the society on the other side is central.
The objective of this conference is to get together and to inform one another about the great research projects that are currently ongoing within Saxion. For you, as researcher, this is a unique opportunity to present your work, either in the form of a short oral presentation in one of the 4 parallel sessions, or as a poster presentation.
But even if you are a student, lecturer, employee, etc and are interested in research and want to be inspired, you are most welcome to join.
