Empathy:

The ability to see situations from someone else's place.

Objectives:

• is able to facilitate mutual contact and discussion taking into consideration emotions and feelings of the other and avoiding aggressive attitude or rude approach.
• know how to get at relevant unspoken information, feelings and needs of other people.
• is able to create a good conversational climate through attention, openness and respect.
• is able to show understanding of the opinion and feelings of other people and accept others as they are.
• is able to focus on understanding the how and why: how the person feels, and why they feel that way.
