"Optic Glow" is a color study of red and how it changes based upon what other types of acrylic paint are added to it. Unsurprisingly, if you add black to it, it becomes brown, and if you add white to it, it becomes pink.
"Cavity" is a color study about how water colors, well, color. The reason why is is called what it is, is simple. Look really, really close at the center. There you will see a black dot. That's because this piece has a cavity and needs to see the dentist.
"Crown" is a companion piece to "Cavity." If you look really close, you'll see that this piece has made a crown on the cavity. Very nice.
Oh, and the tool used to make this piece was colored pencils. Hopefully the red one was not used by a particular Wick, if you know what I mean…wouldn't want it to melt into the orange one after all.
"Captivity" is number three in the rainbow C's. See what I did there? Anybody? No? Okay, I'll see myself out. But come on, you got to give me credit. That's a lot of dots!
"Fang" is an outlier of these color studies, sort of like "Optic Glow." Why? Because it's important to bookend things of course. Now, if you look at the cut outs, you probably see one of two things. The first thing is half of an insect and the second is a bunch of turtles. By the way, did you know that turtles was the first word I ever said? Pretty cool right? I mean most people have a one syllable word as their first word, but me? Nope, I had a two syllable word. That's like twice as good.
