READING

welcome to mrs. gifford's reading class!

We will use the following online programs for reading this year (links and instructions for each program are listed in the next section):

1. Read Naturally: This program helps build foundational reading skills such as comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. This will be used mainly in class.

2. Raz-kids.com: Students will start where they are and work to improve fluency and comprehension using the Raz-Kids online program. Each student will read and respond to different passages, based on their current reading level. Students can access this at home or at school by following the instructions below.

3. Readworks.org: Some students may use Readworks instead of Raz-kids, depending on their individual goals. This can also be accessed from home or school.

To login to Readworks, go to www.readworks.org/student.

Next, enter the class code XHWETF

Enter your default password, which is 1234. You can change your password after logging in, but if you do, please write it down and let your teacher know what it is, in case  you forget. We recommend all students change their password to "skyridge".
