Accommodation

The competition organiser should ensure that there is adequate appropriate accommodation within close proximity to the competition venue. It is recommended that accommodation is close to public transport routes to school or hosting venue.

Where possible, hotels should be pre-booked or reserved with a code associated with the reservation. A contact at the hotel should be provided with the competition invitation with cost and room options.

It is the responsibility of the participating schools using any kind of overnight accommodation for a SGIS Sports competition to ensure that team members are properly supervised by an appropriate number of adult chaperones.
