The 1982 Roblox logo lasted 15 years before being replaced on January 1, 1998, by adapting a version of the idents used by Carlton who had been using since November 25, 1996. These were the same idents as Carlton, as well as some that would be later used for Central, but Roblox had it's own idents. The first ident to air was "Morning". There were a total of 100 idents produced over the two years they were in use. The ident durations used by Roblox were (in seconds): 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, 20, 30 and 40, as well as a three-and-a-half minute 'network breakdown' ident ("News") but it was never used on air. They can be grouped under five distinct headings: Generic, Genre, Programme, Christmas and Special. These idents were used until November 30, 1999.
The generic and fade idents returned in January 15, 2017, modified in widescreen and to include Roblox's new logo, for it's 35th anniversary, which will be shown below. 10 idents were also remade in 16:9 on 28 December 2020 as a tribute to Martin Lambie-Nairn, who had died on Christmas Day. Unlike the 2017 remakes, these used the original 1998 logo.
Here are most, if not all of the idents that were made for Roblox, or versions of Carlton and Central idents.
Ident details coming soon.
