Carltonization of PlayStation Consoles

Carlton began to take over PlayStation consoles in 1998, starting with PS1 consoles that were made during that year.

The PS1 had this startup screen, based on Carlton's generic ident.

The PSP had this startup screen, it's a still ident and fades to the menu. The colors appear to be based on Carlton's ITV generic ident from 1998.

The PS3 had this startup screen, it's also a still ident and fades to the menu. The colors appear to be based on Central's "alarm clock" ident from 1998.

The PS Vita had this startup screen, once again it's a still ident and fades to the menu. The colors appear to be based on Carlton's "wildlife" ident from 1996.

The PS4 had this startup screen, but it's not based on a Carlton ident. There's also a Carlton logo at the bottom.

And finally, the PS5 had this startup screen, and it also had a Carlton logo at the bottom. The colors appear to be based on Carlton's "word shuffle" ident from 1996.
