We welcome you to the South County Mustang Band!!
We hope to see you at the annual 6th Grade Winter Concert Pyramid Band. We cannot wait to meet you!
Rehearsals:
Dates: Wednesday, November 18th and Monday, November 23rd from 5:15-6:30pm.
Location: SCMS Band Room – Room B110.
Enter SCMS: Please enter at Door 8. Once you enter the building, it is the first door on your left.
Enter Band Room:
1.) Come in and find their name tag.
2.) Put music on the music stand with pencil.
3.) Take out instrument.
4.) Put case on the side of the chair.
5.) Begin to practice/warm-up.
Music: Music TBA - will be given to all students by their elementary Band Director. (We will have extra copies on hand in case students forget.)

SCMS Mustang Band students are providing their mentorship services to you. They are there to help you with rhythms, fingerings, notes, articulations, etc.

*Call-Time is 6:15 pm to the Auxiliary Gym - Enter at Entrance 8. There will be signs and a map posted.

*DRESS CODE: Wear something "dressy" or "festive" to the concert as it is a performance. (You can also wear whatever your elementary school's band uniform is. Usually, it is White on top and Black on Bottom with Black shoes.) But, it is your choice.

Serve as a “Mentor” by participating and helping the elementary school students with their music for the Winter Concert on December 1st. This is a great way to be involved in our South County Pyramid!

2.) Bring Binder/Music, and Pencil.
3.) Perform with the 6th Grade students at the Winter Concert on December 1, 2026 in the Main Gym.
4.) Get music from Mr. Niehoff.
5.) Call-Time for SCMS Band Mentors on the concert night is 6:15pm for you to rehearse.
