The history of innovation through human history
Innovation is something new and relevant, which creates value/solves current problems.
Radical innovation is something, which is never seen before. Incremental innovation is adding some extra to existing solutions, to make them just a little bit better.
Global innovations are solutions, which are brand new all over the globe. Local innovation may be solution seen before, but used in a specific local context, they solve problem and thus becomes innovations.

Examples of nordic innovations
- Internalism: To describe the technological innovation in itself, materials, construction, ways of working etc.
- Externalism: To design technological innovation by its impact on society, economy and more, not focusing on the technology in itself.
- Contextualism: tries to balance between technical details and their impact om society.
