Hearing Loss Association of America: HLAA provides assistance and resources for people with hearing loss and their families to learn how to adjust to living with hearing loss. SC Academy of Audiology: SCAA members are professional audiologists who are university trained and licensed to practice audiology within the State of South Carolina. You can count on us for all of the solutions to your hearing problems.  Link: http://www.scaudiology.org/ 

SC AG (Alexander Graham) Bell: SC AG Bell is an organization of parents, hearing-impaired adults, professionals, and others empowering South Carolinians having a hearing loss.   Link: https://www.facebook.com/scagbell/ 

SC Association of the Deaf: SCAD is a statewide organization working with and for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in South Carolina.                                                                           Link:  http://www.scadservices.org/ 

SC Commission for the Blind:  The SC Commission for the Blind does provide services to children, beginning at age 3, who have a combined vision/hearing loss.  SCCB counselors provide direct assistance with adjustment to blindness/vision loss and coordinate a variety of other applicable resources.  Link: http://www.sccb.state.sc.us/csp.php .

SC Council for Exceptional Students: South Carolina Council for Exceptional Children is a collaborative community of professionals who are the voice and vision of special education in South Carolina. SC School for the Deaf and Blind: The South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) is a specialized instructional and resource center. It provides services statewide for individuals who are deaf, blind or sensory multidisabled (children and adults), their families and the professionals who work with them. American Speech – Language Hearing Association: Link:  http://www.asha.org/ The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is the professional, scientific, and credentialing association for 145,000 members and affiliates who are speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the United States and internationally.  The vision is to make effective communication, a human right, accessible, and achievable for all.

National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management: NCHAM serves as the National Resource Center for the implementation and improvement of comprehensive and effective Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) systems.  Link: www.infanthearing.org
