Annual D/HH Back-to-School Bash
Annual D/HH Back-to-School Bash
SCHV Co-Hosts the Annual D/HH Back to School Bash. The Bash is a FREE educational and fun event for children, adults, and their families who experience the impact of hearing loss. The Bash provides awareness regarding the myriad resources available to families concerning access to communication, language, emergency support, educational supports, and assistive technology. Professionals can partner to bring information, resources, and support families across South Carolina.

SCHV also exhibits and/or presents regularly at events and/or professional trainings throughout the state. SCHV works to spread the word by exhibiting at conferences such as Family Connections, SC Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education Summit, and AG Bell Conference. Additionally, SCHV presents at conferences and/or organizational professionals on topics such as "Service without Bias" for social workers or special needs cases workers.
