ABOUT SCHV MINGLES
SC Hands & Voices is a volunteer parent-driven 501c3 organization that operates on 100% donations and grant funding. We are working to build a support community for families with D/deaf or hard of hearing children in South Carolina. Please feel free to join us for one or more family mingles across the state of South Carolina.
Our mingles are designed to be a supportive, fun, low-stakes environment where families of children (of all ages, birth to adults) can come together and get to know one another. Registration is not required but helpful so we can keep in touch for future events and to help plan refreshments and activities.
Note: All children are required to be accompanied by a parent, guardian or another adult who has agreed to be responsible for the child. Parents, guardians and responsible adults will be responsible for the health and safety of the children under their care.
General Waiver: Attendees recognize that there are inherent risks involved in general play activities. In consideration of the volunteer services provided, attendees release and hold harmless South Carolina Hands & Voices, and their directors, board members, officers, agents and volunteers from any and all liability for injuries, including those resulting in death, and/or illnesses incurred while participating or attending any SCHV event.
