SC Hands & Voices (SCHV) is a non-profit parent-led organization that supports families with children who are D/deaf, hard-of-hearing (DHH), or deaf/blind (DB). SCHV is expanding its family support services by co-hosting the 2nd Biannual D/deaf, hard-of-hearing, Deaf Blind, Deaf Plus Family Conference on February 21-22, 2025.

We Need You!

South Carolina Hands & Voices knows at least 300 families in the state (not including surrounding state families) who need education and support. You have the expertise, resources, products and services.

We need speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. Can you deliver a presentation, offer financial support or exhibit with a booth to share information on these or others related to Deaf/hard-of-hearing and Deaf/blind services?

• parent-to-parent emotional support

• family-modeling to learn skills

• self-advocacy tools

• legislative matters and/or service policies

• technology trends or advancements

• resources for young adults 18-25 

• resources to enable families to make good decisions and take ownership of choices and outcomes
