Classroom Management Plan

Hello! My name is Savannah Castonguay, I am a Junior in the elementary education program at ETSU. I am originally from Colorado and moved to TN to further my education. I have a beautiful 2 year old daughter who I get to love and pour into constantly and who gets to walk alongside life’s crazy adventures with me. I chose Elementary education as my major because I love being around kids and would love to watch them grow in knowledge and who they are. I have had some really amazing teachers that poured into me as a student, but also as a person. As a teacher I hope to bring a light and comfort to the classroom that allows students to have a safe space to be their best selves, just like I had when I was younger! In my free time I love being surrounded by people. I am a huge extrovert and would rather be in a room full of people than anywhere by myself. I love to read my bible and sit in moments with Jesus, hiking, playing pickleball and volleyball. I also love coffee! Outside of my classes at ETSU, I am a substitute teacher in the Greene county school system as well as a children's ministry lead teacher. I love getting to pour into all different age levels and be a light to those students, even if is just for the day! I can not wait to get to have my own students to pour into each and every day.
