All Field Trips will require at least a permission slip, while others may require additional activity approval forms and/or insurance. Please contact the SU Activity Consultant if you have questions.

  • Alta Vista Gardens (Vista)-local garden offers monthly workshops for kids
  • Bates Nut Farm (Escondido)-Visit the pumpkin patch and the Farm Zoo. Enjoy the straw maze and tractor hayride.
  • LoveSoulShine Workshops (Varies)- Create a Mandala (art circle) to connect experience with learning using natural elements.
  • San Diego Botanic Garden (Encinitas)-Take a guided tour of the gardens and play at the Children's Garden
  • Wahine Project (Oceanside)-Teach ocean and environmental stewardship, ocean safety and surfing
  • WAVE Waterpark (Vista)-Learn about water safety, first aid, swimming techniques, or just have some water fun.

Personal Development/Growth Activities

  • Babysitter Training (Various)- community education program designed to teach youths, age 11 and older, basic care techniques and child safety for infants and children
  • Healthy Chats (Various)-a healthy seminar on growth and puberty in the comfort of your home
  • One Way Out (Various)- providing personal safety/self-awareness classes
  • Play it Safe (Various)- gives women, men and children the confidence and increased awareness skills that could keep them from potential danger
  • Sisterhood Seminars (Various)- offers "its a girl thing" puberty seminars and social butterfly badge workshops
