Testimonials:

"Thank you so much for allowing me to join Girl Scouts. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. I’m thankful for being able to spend time with the girls. I definitely enjoyed meeting every single one of the girls and getting to know them and their hobbies. It truly felt like a big sister moment to me since I’m an only child. At first I was very hesitant to go and meet the girls because I assumed they weren’t going to like me but I regret thinking that because I had so much fun with them and would wait to close out my week with them on Fridays." - Viviana Hernandez (2019)

"Volunteering for Girl Scouts has been one of the most fulfilling experiences. It was a great way to connect to the girls in my community, inspire them, help build their confidence and leadership skills. It was truly life changing and lea to me seek a position within the organization and continue the journey to help build girls of “Courage, Confidence and Character.” – Victoria Vasquez, (2018)

"I always wanted to be a Girl Scout growing up but I never had the opportunity so deciding to do my service learning with Girl Scouts was the best experience! I got to see what being a Girl Scout is like and also developed skills. I learned how to work with young hyper girls! I also feel more confident in taking leadership roles!” -Belen Hernandez (2019)

"Getting the opportunity to work with the Girl Scout organization has impacted my life in many ways. Teaching the younger generation basic life skills and creating a bond with others is a great way for individuals to feel accepted by their peers and community. My goal was to guide my troops to become confident in everything they do and to support one another.” -Holly Isaacs (2017-2018)
