We plan for 6 service projects per year. This is part of BSA's service to others philosophy
Two of the six projects are supporting the Rotary of San Jose - our chartering organization
Rotary Fishing (normally April) - Scouts help elementary school children to catch fish and then finish with a great BBQ hosted by the Rotary
Creek cleanup (Sept) - the Rotary sponsors a downtown site (usually near SAP center) to cleanup as part of the California Coastal Cleanup Day
The other four service projects are:
Grace Holiday party (Dec) - Scouts escort attendees to their seats and serve meals
Sacred Heart
Scouting for Food (Nov)
St Martin Tours Food Bank (Apr-May)
