We break out the monthly event ideas into the following groups:
Annual trips - these are trips we program in for every year. Annual trips can be evaluated to keep as an annual trip and other events can be elected to be an annual event. There shouldn't be too many annual events since that prevents the Troop from being able to plan other trips.
Rotating trips - these are trips the Troop has done before and were popular enough to keep on our list to be done again sometime in the future. The thinking is that all rotating trips should be done once every three years - but that goal might become impossible as we keep adding new trips to the list
