Masters Tournament

Masters tennis tournaments are run by Tennis NB, hosted by several tennis clubs/associations across the province. Players need to be 30+ years to enter. Matches are played in various age groups up to 80 - 85. Players are able to compete against others of a similar age. Players from NB, Nova Scotia and further afield have played in St Andrews.

SACTA first hosted this tournament in 2009 with entry numbers increasing each year.  The tournament has taken place every year since 2009 (including 2020 and 2021 with COVID restrictions) and 2023 will be the 15th consecutive year. Registration numbers increased over the time with SACTA needing to use two private courts in some years (for which we are very grateful) in order to complete the matches. With the addition of 2 new tennis courts and repaving of the old courts SACTA was chosen as the annual location for a Tennis NB Master's Tournament in 2010.  The Masters is restricted to players with a minimum age of 30 and no maximum age.

Mens singles and doubles, womens singles and doubles and mixed doubles are played in all age ranges. Results are posted on this website as well as with Tennis NB.
