Over the summer, practice listening to the ten phrases in a row said in this YouTube video (https://youtu.be/da7XhLFSAPA?t=406); phrases numbered 19 through 28. You will listen and write the pinyin and English for any eight of your choosing of the ten of them. 

The order will be randomized at the time of the listening summative. Scoring will be based on accuracy in the pinyin and general accuracy in the English. Email me if you have any questions about this.

Choose one text from two MYP4 units (2 texts total). Write the pinyin and English for eight lines from each text (16 lines total).

The audio link in the article document will help you identify how to say each word. Using Google Translate can help check meaning and pinyin.
