Brynne Ruotsalainen

Danny has completed an AA in Biology at Clark College and is currently studying Biology at WSU-V, planning to go on to dental school after. He is interested in learning more about genetic composition and how different factors can contribute to genotypic and phenotypic changes in individuals and populations over time. In the Rudman lab, Danny is involved in experiments related to genetic diversity and the storage effect, and how they impact phenotypic expression and variance in drosophila. He hopes to improve his understanding of evolutionary genetics and its various applications. 

Outside of the lab, Danny enjoys working out, playing guitar, and spending time outside.
