Broadly about the research that he does within the lab is the focus on streamlining the process of studying genotype-phenotype linkages with Machine Learning based approaches (Preprint), bioinformatical and population genetic analyses of experimental genomic data (Preprint), and the unraveling of genotype-phenotype linkages of complex traits through experimental and novel bioinformatical applications. Amir's hopes are a pursuit of a graduate degree with a focus on personalized medicine, computational biology, data science, and machine learning!
Outside of work hobbies include; gym, hiking, biking, rock-climbing, playing guitar, playing video games, and trying out new foods!
