Hello my darlings!

I am so sorry to not be with you on Saturday mornings You are a joy in my life and I can’t wait to see you again! But we can still learn together even when we’re apart and you can reach out to me anytime! I would always love to hear from you. So where were we in our continuing saga of this fascinating ancestral family of ours?!

I believe Jacob had run away fearing that his brother Esau would kill him after stealing the blessing. Jacob then ended up marrying his uncle Laban’s two daughters, Rachel and Leah. He fell in love with Rachel (the younger of the two) but Laban tricked Jacob at the wedding and swapped Rachel out for her older sister Leah! Laban then made Jacob work for him for another 7 years until he could also marry Rachel. I know! Having two wives? That’s so Genesis.
