Ivandyr's Hoop

Ivandy'rs Hoop is an item just about everyone that is able to equip should be looking to obtain.  Exceptions to this would be those that have +mana +hp earrings that are more net gain than this earring for those with already high int or wis.

This item is the reward of a quest in Innothule Swamp, given out by Lynuga.

As a bit of a spoiler, the hoop is one of 3 potential rewards.  The likelihood of getting the hoop is based on two things:  

• • luck

  • faction

I suggest that anyone in the guild that wants this earring, and has at least 1200pp laying around, approach this as follows:

• 1. Talk to Helena, or someone else with high charisma and purchase a stack of at least 10 rubies.  Helena can buy them for 110pp each.

  2. Take the stack to Innothule with the person that wants the item, or someone that can bind near Lynuga and port themselves quickly to sell.  This is because every item Lynuga gives as a reward is lore.  These items all sell for 70pp.  Unless you want to lose 70pp on every turnin after the 1st one (as you wont get the reward that is lore),  you're going to want to sell or hand-off the rewards.

  3. I suggest asking Pirasha to do the handins for you.  Pirasha is bound at a spot where Lynuga often loiters.  She can gate there as needed for handins and she has the advantage of being ALLY with Lynuga.  This will increase the chance per ruby of getting the hoop.

  4. If Pirasha does get the hoop for you, she is not against a donation.  She cannot afford the rubies to try this on her own yet, so any token of appreciation will be accepted!  :)
