Garret Zethkog says 'Hail ______! I am Garret Zethkog, first Shadowknight of the Dark Reflection. Long ago I made the journey far to the west to the human city of Qeynos. In the catacombs of the Bloodsabres, human disciples of the Plague Lord, Bertoxxulous, I studied the ways of the Shadowknight. I have returned to Ak'Anon with this knowledge and now tutor young gnomes that have [heard the calling] of the Dark Reflection in the ways of a Dark Knight of Bertoxxulous.'

You say, 'I have heard the calling.'

Garret Zethkog says 'Bertoxxulous has gifted his faithful with the sight of the Dark Reflection, the ability to recognize the power of disease and decay and its importance as a catalyst of change and progress. We Shadowknights of the Dark Reflection are the champions of the Plague Bringer. It is our duty to embrace our gifts and use them to act as the agents of Bertoxxulous, doing his bidding unquestioningly. There are many however who oppose the Plague Lord and his servants. They do not understand the importance of our existence and we must [defend ourselves] against these foes lest they would have us destroyed.'

You say, 'How do we defend ourselves?'

Garret Zethkog says 'Every young Knight of the Dark Reflection must first learn the basics of combat and acquire a suit of armor to help turn aside the weapons of our enemies. Take this parchment to my sister Mimtia Zethkog and she will assist you in acquiring a set of suitable armor for a young shadownknight. Once you have been suitably outfitted return to me and I will instruct you on your [next task].'

You receive a Parchment to Mimtia (identifies as "Parchment from Garret"). Mimtia may be found at +2170, -585. Give her the parchment.

Mimtia Zethkog says 'Hail ______! You must be one of Garret's new knights. Garret has asked me to help get you outfitted in a suit of armor to protect you from the weapons of our foes. I have assembled a kit for you that will allow you to construct the armor pieces once you have gathered the necessary components. The required components vary according to which piece of Plague Knight Armor you are planning on assembling. Do you wish to craft a [plague knight helm], a [plague knight bracer], [plague knight gauntlets], [plague knight boots], [plague knight vambraces], [plague knight greaves], or a [plague knight breastplate].'

You say, 'I wish to craft plague knight boots.'

Mimtia Zethkog says 'To assemble Plague Knight Boots you will need to obtain two bricks of crude bronze and smelt them in a forge with a Water Flask and this crude Boot Mold. Once that is done combine the Crude Bronze Boots with two Ruined Cat Pelts, and two Clockwork Rat Belly Plates in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

You say, 'I wish to craft a Plague knight bracer'

Mimtia Zethkog says 'To assemble a Plague Knight Bracer you will need to obtain a brick of crude bronze and smelt it in a forge with a Water Flask and this Crude Bracer Mold. Once that is done, combine the Crude Bronze Bracer with a Ruined Cat Pelt and a Clockwork Rat Leg Section in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

You say, 'I wish to craft Plague knight gauntlets'

Mimtia Zethkog says 'To assemble Plague Knight Gauntlets you will need to obtain two bricks of crude bronze and smelt them in a forge with a Water Flask and this crude Gauntlet Mold. Once that is done combine the Crude Bronze Gauntlets with a Ruined Cat Pelt and two Clockwork Rat Back Plates in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

You say, 'I wish to craft Plague knight greaves'

Mimtia Zethkog says 'To assemble Plague Knight Greaves you will need to obtain two bricks of crude bronze and smelt them in a forge with a Water Flask and this Crude Greaves Mold. Once that is done combine the Crude Bronze Greaves with two Low Quality Cat Pelts and four Clockwork Spider Leg Sections in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

You say, 'I wish to craft a Plague knight helm'

Mimtia Zethkog says 'To assemble a Plague Knight Helm you will need to obtain two bricks of crude bronze and smelt them in a forge with a Water Flask and this Crude Helm Mold. Once that is done combine the Crude Bronze Helm with a Ruined Cat Pelt and two Clockwork Spider Eye Lenses in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

You say, 'I wish to craft Plague knight vambraces'

Mimtia Zethkog says 'To assemble Plague Knight Vambraces you will need to obtain two bricks of crude bronze and smelt them in a forge with a Water Flask and this Crude Vambrace Mold. Once that is done combine the Crude Bronze Vambraces with a Low Quality Cat Pelt and two Clockwork Spider Leg Sections in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

You say, 'I wish to craft a Plague knight breastplate'

Mimtia Zethkog says 'To assemble a Plague Knight Breastplate you will need to obtain four bricks of crude bronze and smelt them in a forge with a Water Flask and this Crude Breastplate Mold. Once that is done combine the Crude Bronze Breastplate with a Medium Quality Cat Pelt, a Clockwork Spider Thorax Plate, and a Clockwork Spider Abdomen Plate in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

You say, 'What next task?'

Garret Zethkog says 'There are many through out Norrath who oppose the Dark Reflection. Even here in our home, Ak'Anon, the Eldrich Collective and the Deep Muses oppose us and wish to see us exiled or eradicated. A Paladin of the Deep Muses, Donlix Bonkle, has been leading a group of zealots that is hunting young members of the Dark Reflection in the Steamfont Mountains. Seek Donlix Bonkle and eliminate him. When you have accomplished this task return to me with Donlix's Short Sword.'

Donlix Bonkle can be found at location -160, -1900 in the Steamfont Mountains. He drops Donlix's Short Sword. Give the sword to Garrett.

Garret Zethkog says, '"Well done NAME. I am pleased that this threat to our young disciples of the Plague Bringer has been eliminated. Take this Dull Dark Reflection Short Sword and sharpen it in a forge with a sharpening stone. It may take you several attempts if you are unfamiliar with the process. Once the sword has been sharpened take it to Clockwork SmithXIII with Ebon Drake Scales and he will put the finishing touches on the new weapon.

You receive a Dull Dark Reflection Short Sword. Combine it with a Sharpening Stone in a forge (trivial 19) to make Sharp Dark Reflection Short Sword.

There is no mention of how to get Ebon Drake Scales. However, if you get your hands on the Rough Dark Reflection Staff, by killing Winlix and turning his staff info Tilkzog, you can shapen that with a sharpening stone in a forge - and tada... ebon drake scales.  On Rolath only - also a rare drop from a lesser ebon drake.

Combine Rough Dark Reflection Staff with a Sharpening Stone in a forge (trivial 19) to make Ebon Drake Scales.

Give the Sword and the Scales to Clockwork SmithXIII in the Ak'Anon mines.
