Physical educator Roger Wolfson has touched on a number of important things regarding health and fitness in his series of blogs. In today’s blog, he explores a concept that has become the topic of discussion in many online fitness circles, especially in today pandemic-stricken world – the home gym.
Roger Wolfson mentions that a home gym isn’t cheap, but he also mentions that it is well worth the investment.
As mentioned earlier, the world is struggling with a global health crisis, and in many cities and states, gyms are closed or are at decreased capacity. Probably one of the best reasons to have a home gym is people’s workout programs will never get interrupted since they have everything they need in the comfort of their own home, and they can go about working out in safety.
Another reason Roger Wolfson believes a home gym is a great investment is because people can design it to their own specifications. Whatever fitness regimen they’re on, whether it be traditional weightlifting, CrossFit, martial arts, boxing or Muay Thai, or the like, people can decide what their gym will be like.
Finally, Roger Wolfson mentions that a home gym at first may be more expensive than a gym membership, but a lot cheaper in the long run. Also, people can take their time adding to their home gym, so the initial cash out wouldn’t be too heavy on the budget.
