As a fitness expert, Roger Wolfson knows the importance of having good blood circulation. With good blood circulation, your body gets all the nutrition that it needs to make you feel more energized in performing various tasks. Here are some light exercises that can boost your blood circulation immediately.
1. Start off with arm rotations. Once you work up your arms, blood from your lower body goes upward, along the circulatory system’s natural path. This removes all of the stored energy in your shoulders, all the way to your hands. With a few arm curls, you also make sure the blood gets pumping in your biceps and triceps, explains Roger Wolfson. While you’re at it, do some head rotations that can exercise your neck, too.
2. Next, do some exercises that involve your legs. Do leg rotations with your free leg while you stand on one foot. Follow this exercise with some knee raises, and then some front lunges. At this point, you’ll already feel the blood rushing to your lower extremities.
3. Finally, you can now do some quick core exercises. Start off with some leg raises as you lie down on the floor. Start with one leg first before you do the same for the other, and then proceed to raising two legs, shares Roger Wolfson. You can also add a few crunches afterwards.
This process is simple enough to do, and if you do it right with timed short rests in between exercises, it should not take you more than ten minutes to complete. Truly, this isn’t too bad of a routine, considering that you are able to achieve a normal rate of blood circulation in a very short time, with very minimal strain on your body.
