Starting in 1848, with the Seneca Falls Convention in New York, the women's suffrage movement came to a head in 1920 when congress passed the 19th amendment giving all persons the right to vote regardless of gender. Some notable leaders of the movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries were Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Ruth Hanna McCormick.
This is ride a new take on the classic spinning teacup ride. The inside of each vessel is painted with images from the early Feminist movement. Each vessel also has the name of a leader from the movement painted on the outside. A maximum of 8 riders can ride together, and they all work cooperatively to spin a disk in the center of the vessel that spins them.
